In their maiden campaign, Sam Gornall and Westbourne Motorsport stormed to the Mid-Europe Juniors title, a historic debut for the young Brit and his team, making a bold statement in the Clio Cup field! Following an intense season long battle Westbourne Motorsport’s latest young protégé, Sam Gornall emerged victorious in the hotly contested Clio Cup Mid Europe Championship.

The team executed a high stakes expansion into the European arena where they successfully translated their domestic expertise into continental success, mastering iconic circuits including Spa Francorchamps, Magny-Cours, Valencia, Paul Ricard and Monza.

Team principal, Richard Colburn commented, “Sam (Gornall) is a remarkable young driver. His exploits with us in Mini Challenge last year (2024) showed just how good he was, with both raw speed and exceptional race craft. He has the makings of a top flight professional racing driver. The team did a fantastic job this year on the European stage, showing we have what it takes to take on the best in Europe”.
