SHANEL DREWE GRADUATES TO MICHELIN CLIO CUP SERIES WITH JADE DEVELOPMENTS

Teenage talent Shanel Drewe will mount a challenge on the Michelin Clio Cup Series this year, entering the Road Series with reigning class champions Jade Developments.

Drewe made her car-racing debut last season in the Junior Saloon Car Championship as a privateer entrant, impressing onlookers with her raw pace and racecraft as she impressively progressed through the season.

The 16 year old, who is set to be the youngest driver on the grid this season, is now making the next step up the British Automobile Racing Club’s touring car ladder as she enters the Road Series in a distinctive black and pink liveried Clio racer.

With key backing from Dansoft Aviation Series and WrappedUpCars.com behind her, the Bristol-based racer is set for a busy start to the season as she combines her racing with plenty of studying ahead of her GCSE examinations later this year.
